A Chicago native, Lisa Chung moved to New York City for the same reason anyone really ever moves to the Big Apple: to live the dream.
With a bachelor’s in news-editorial journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Lisa began her career at a global Internet media company where she developed content about travel and discovering gems in the neighborhood. She now writes about home décor and cultural events in New York. Her work has been published in Promenade, NYMetroParents.com, Quest, Q, Travelzoo.com and Hamptons Cottages & Gardens.
When she’s not writing, she’s typically looking for her next cup of coffee or attempting easy DIY projects, which are actually harder than they seem when you throw a teeny New York apartment into the mix!
Follow her adventures on Instagram or tumblr and check out some of her clips and blog posts at elchung.wordpress.com.
